I can't believe how fast 2006 flew by. Ok, so Im going to start the "wedding planning" within the next few months. I have pics to show you gals of the #1 contender for our reception venue. I love it! We have not chosen a date yet but we are pretty much open to anything so we will probably base it on what dates are available at this venue. Im thinking sometime in the Spring though. So let the planning begin............
Hey ladie, how are all of you? As you know Im taking a break from al l htis wedding planning. I've still been dropping in once in awhile to see how all your planning is going. Sorry if I haven't left a comment...Im bad at that. Anyway, as you may know we have postponed the wedding until 2008. I feel so relieved. I felt like I was in a time crunch. Now I feel like I can take my time to make decisions to make the day perfect. I cannot wait until the day comes. I still haven't thought about setting the date but once I find the perfect venue we will start talking "dates". It will more than likely be in the Spring. At first I was going to do alot of DIY but I think I might keep it to a minimum. I guess it all depends ... I'll keep you updated!!
Hey girls. Wow, it's been almost a month since my last post. There is alot that has happened in the last month. Well, the venue that I liked does not have an opening for 4.7.07. So we are looking at other options and I think that I might have one. Actually not one but two. The only thing about that I don't like about the first is that you must be done and out of there by Midnight :(. Um no..we don't want the music to end until midnight if not later!! So we found this other place at St Ambrose University and have yet to contact them. They used to have a catering menu up on their website last time I checked which was at the begnning of the year, but can't seem to find it now. They had a excellent veriety of menus which is great because it was not just limited to fish, chicken and beef.

John and I are actullay considering pushing back the wedding for one more year possibly May 2008. The only thing is that I had already made the save-the-dates :( but those can be redone. Atleast I haven't mailed them out yet. I can't believe how close April 2007 is and I know that Im not going to have enough time to get everything done, not impossible but to close for me. We actually thought of Fall 07 but I want a Spring wedding.
Non-Wedding realted news My son starts Kinder next Wednesday. Im super excited and so is he. I can't believe that my baby is all grown-up. Gees, time flies but where does it all go?!? School started for me this past Monday. I can't wait until Im finished.
